What is KORA?
 KORA is The Danish Institute for Local and
Regional Government Research.
 KORA conducts analysis and research on and
for the 98 Danish municipalities and five
regions.
 KORA provides application-oriented and
practice-oriented knowledge for and on
municipalities and regions.
 KORA has a special duty to disseminate
knowledge and assist implementing the best
solutions for municipalities and regions.

Preliminary results on KORA’s
Performance
 Quality: KORA is to be the preferred provider of
analysis and research in the field of welfare state
analysis
– 82,5 % of actors who has required analysis and
research tasks by KORA are satisfied with the quality
of the analysis and research. (80 % is judged as a
success rate)
