Technical tour - Saturday 6 December Abbadia a Isola - Monteriggioni (Siena) The technical tour will be a visit (with a short excursion) along the Francigena Way (Via Francigena), in one of the most charming places of Tuscany. The day will include also a meeting with local administrators and technicians in order to understand the different interventions for the promotion, dissemination and safety of the official path. The Via Francigena is an ancient pilgrim trail to Rome, starting in Canterbury, England; crossing the channel to France and continuing across Switzerland before reaching Italy. One of the most fascinating sections of the Italian Francigena is absolutely in Tuscany and in particular in the province of Siena, where we'll go with this technical tour.
