The Union Movement:
1. The company hired scabs during a strike and
violence erupted between police and strikers. A
rally the next day also turned violent, when a
bomb went off, killing and wounding protestors.
2. American workers…feeling victimized, tried to
protest and form unions. Unions fought for
better rights, benefits and wages for the common
man
3. The Knights of Labor, American Federation of
Labor, and the Industrial Workers of the World
