Directions For Baking
Cupcakes:
• Step one: Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
– While oven is heating you may line
cupcake pan with paper liners and set
aside until they are needed.

• Step Two: In a bowl of an electric mixer
fitted with the paddle attachment,
combine:

• Step Three: mix on low speed until
combined.
• Step Four: Then add butter
• Mix until just coated with flour

• Step Five: In large glass measuring cup,
whisk together:
• Eggs
• Milk
• And Vanilla

• Step Six: With mixer on medium speed,
add wet ingredients in 3 parts.
– Scraping down sides of bowl before each
addition
– Beat until ingredients are incorporated (but
don’t over beat)

• Step Seven: Divide the batter evenly
among the liners.
– Filling about 2/3 full

• Step Eight: Place cupcakes in oven,
rotating pan halfway through
– Bake 17 to 20 minutes
• Insert cake tester to into the center, and make
sure it comes out clean.

• Step Nine: Transfer cupcakes to a wire
rack to cool completely.
• Repeat process with remaining batter.

• Step Ten: Once cupcakes have cooled,
frost tops of each cupcake
– Can use an offset spatula or piping bag to
frost.
– Can decorate with sprinkles
– Serve at room temperature

• In order to finish off the cupcakes we
must frost them!
• Any flavor can be used, today we are
making vanilla frosting.

• Step One: In the bowl of an electric
mixer, with paddle attachment, cream
butter until smooth and creamy.
– 2 to 3 minutes of mixing until creamy

• Step Two: With mixer on low speed, add
in:
• 6 cups of sugar
• Milk
• And Vanilla
• *Mix until light and fluffy

• Step Three: If necessary, Gradually add
remaining 2 cups of sugar to reach
desired consistency

• Now that cupcakes and frosting are
made, lets decorate!
• Take spatula or piping bag to frost
cupcakes

– Use colored sprinkles
– Use different shaped sprinkles
– Can add food color to frosting for different
colors
