Course objectives
After completing the course you will be able to :
 Describe some important process models or
approaches in information/software systems analysis
dan design
 Explain and apply an iterative, use case-driven,
architecture-centric process to the development of
design models
 Use the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to
represent the analysis and design models
 Explain and apply object-oriented (OO) concepts:

abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance, hierarchy,
modularity, and polymorphism to the development of
design models
