The flats are mostly large, but the buildings are quite close to each other.
The walls are paintless and the pipes are rust. There is not enough open space
for recreation. Only a few land use conflict is found.
The living environment is not good.

The Living Condition
Most of the flats are small, and they are very close to each other. The
buildings are very old. The roofs of the buildings are rust and the wires
is broken. There is a park as the open space. Land use conflict is found,
the residential areas are close to industrial areas.
The living environment is bad.

The traffic condition is heavy. There are not enough
parking space, there are double and treble parking.
The traffic condition is very bad.
Our Reflections~
Cynkauven:
In this project, I think that we can learn
most is how to present our work.
Unfortunately, I didn’t do much of this work.
Angel:
I made great fun in this project. Since I was
fond of Geography, I'm keen on doing this kind of
projects.
My group members and I recorded the condition of
vehicles,had a close look at the buildings and had a chat
with the local residents. When I was interviewing
others,I was quiet afraid and nervous. Because some of
them thought that we were annoyng,they did not want to
answer our questions. But after I was more brave, I
finally finished finding the informations.
After this project, I have learnt the urban problems that
we are facing and how we can solve it.
Manyee:
I have learn many things on this field study.
It's hard to do the interview with the
residents in Kowloon City but it is a very
good chance for me to do it.
Cybil:
I have learn the housing and transport
problems of Kowloon City. I enjoy this field
study very much and it's a precious
experience for me.
Jolie:
I 'd like to going an outing than staying in
the classroom to learn.It's more
fun !During the outing, I am a little bit shy
when i was having a interview with a
citizen in Kowloon City.Luckily,those
residents were kind .i enjoy myself very
much in this outing.
Tim:
In the project, I know that polite is very important. I
know that in the interview in Kowloon City. If you
being politely, most of the people would answer your
questions. If you don’t, they wouldn’t answer your
questions. Although they would answer you, they
would not think about the questions and said ‘No,
No’ for each questions. I learn a lot of things in the
project. Especially the useful tings about Geog. I
think this kind of learning method. It helps me to
learn easily. I hope I can have more chance to learn
in project.
Dennis:
It is good that we can go out and can see
the living environment in Kowloon city.
But doing interview is really difficult.
