Instructors provide their respective group with the instruction required to meet their learning needs. Section 6: Differentiated Split Class Differentiated Split Class Example A construction math class has learners who grasp adding fractions and those who need more practice. • One teacher works with the students who understand adding fractions to expand their knowledge to subtraction of fractions. • The other teacher reviews or re-teaches those students who require further instruction and practice with adding fractions. Section 6: Differentiated Split Class Activity With your teaching partner, brainstorm instructional activities specifically linked to the subject or program you plan to teach where you could use Differentiated Split Class.
