The SVEA regional needs analysis
is a result of 5 regional analyses conducted in
the SVEA consortium regions.
The analysis was structured in four phases:
•Stakeholder mapping
•Desktop research
•Phone interviews
•Regional round table workshops

To respond to the needs identified during the analysis SVEA has:
• Developed a collaborative
online platform to be used
by learners and trainers
• Developed web 2.0 training which will be offered to VET and adult
training trainers from May 2011 onwards

SVEA Platform is built using Open Atrium and has been designed to be
easy-to-use and intuitive.

How it works
The main part of the SVEA platform
is represented by the group space
where a user can access all the
available functionalities.
The home page of the group space is a dashboard with
several customizable mini widgets. They can be turned
on and off and arranged to suit the individual user.

Web 2.0 Training
The SVEA learning modules aims to support the trainers from VET and
adult training institutions to actually use those social media tools within
their training systems.
The SVEA learning modules are designed:
•as part of a teacher-supported online or
blended learning course
•for individual learning
•As well as group-based collaborative
learning
