Development program created by Technical Director of NE Revolution Academy
Prehabilitation Training
Certified personal trainer runs age appropriate training sessions designed to
increase athletic performance and reduce injury.
What is unique to BAYS?
Group Practice
All players of the age group practice the same night
Common practice plans provided by NE Revolution Academy coaches
Led by volunteer coaches
NE Revolution Academy coach train parent coaches
Provides additional opportunity to evaluate players for proper placement

Philosophy
Focus on developing individual players
Place the development of player ahead of the team record
Challenge players by individual technical training and realistic game-like
functional and situational sessions
Supported by an advanced training program, developed by NE Revolution
Academy in accordance with USSF guidelines
This balance of individual and team-oriented training provides the
best opportunity to develop the player to their full potential

A dedicated NE Revolution Academy coach for each team
A complete development program of age appropriate training
One individual technical training session each week
One situational training per week, to introduce and develop
team tactical concepts
One competitive match per week played under real conditions
Additional development matches, to work on tactics at a
competitive level (Still in discussion)
What are the benefits of training

Match day objectives designed to develop habits and thought
processes to improve individual performance
Individual analysis reports for each player completed by the NE
Revolution Academy coach
Formal meetings at the beginning and end of the season
between the coach and each player and between the coach and
parent(s), to review goals and development progress
Video analysis of the games
Educational homework assignments

Academy Squad Tryouts
All tryouts at Haskell
Tryouts assess individual technical skills
Evaluations completed by NE Revolution Academy coaches
No input from town coaches or BAYS evaluations
Technical Director finalizes the rosters based on the results
Any injured player that wishes to participate can still be
evaluated based on their previous play in training sessions, Skills
Academy and Group Night.

Goalkeeper Wednesday, May 11th 6-8 PM Co-ed
Field Players Thursday, May 12th Boys 4-6 PM

Goalkeeper Wednesday, May 11th 4-6 PM Co-ed
Field Players Friday, May 13th Boys 4-6 PM
Girls 6-8 PM
Players trying out for goalie must also attend field tryout

Academy Squad Program Registration
Players will be notified of their status by May 16th
Player must accept or decline their spot by May 18th
Registration is for Fall ‘11 and Spring ‘12
Academy Squad is a two season commitment
Players who do not make Academy Squad are asked to participate
in BAYS evaluations

Registration Fees
Program fee is $800 and includes the following
Fall and Spring BAYS registration
Professional coaching for twenty weeks
Academy Squad warm-up kit
SYSA equipment bag
Program does not include Standard BAYS uniform kit
