identity. They have won 5 Oscars!, and is one of
the biggest film makes in the world! It has shaped
NZ’s film industry forever. It shows you how they
make the films so the tourism is very big. Even I
got to see how they made films. To make more
people come, you can’t take cameras were they
show you. That means you can’t video it and put it
on YouTube or other sites!

In 1987 by Richard Taylor, Peter Jackson and
Jamie Selkirk.

How do they create
characters?
• For some movies, they made robots, (that had
a remote) so they didn’t have to find real aliens
or monsters.
• If easier they would dress up, like in Narnia
and use high tech make up.
