Making of
 The fourth album was recorded during 2012,
after the end of the massive world tour supporting
“This is War”
 The band has come up with a new direction and
has experimented new sounds. In 2011, Tomo
said “Night of the Hunter” was in line with what
the future would sound like
 In April 2012, Jared played some of the new tracks
on VyRT. It was the first time Tomo and Shannon
heard then too

Up in the Air
 Then, the first single “Up in the Air” was released and
the world came crashing down. Since it debuted,
March 18th, criticism has hit hard.
 Some Echelon LOVE the new sound – which
reminisces on Search & Destroy and Closer to the Edge
in it’s upbeat – and some Echelon HATE it. People
have announced they are leaving the fandom because
they don’t like this (R)EVOLUTION
 Lyric video surpassed one million views on YouTube

 “The recorded version is a big, huge, fun, energetic
Thirty Seconds to Mars song and we’re so incredibly

triumphant in reverse. They mix their
heart’s darkness with social criticism
and a sense of destruction, overcomed

beautifil and emotional songs MARS have
ever released. Watch out, Alibi.
