我在地上生活的目标是什么？
What is our purpose of living on earth?
我们生存的目的是什么呢？
Many people live like this许多人过着这样的生活:
• Studying n preparing for working life
学习并且准备进入工作
• Paying for a car, a house…买房子，买车子
• Getting married and starting a family…
结婚建立家庭
• Working and saving for retirement为退休而工作
• Finally leaving this world with nothing
最后离开世界，什么也带不走
• This is all motivated by the self, benefiting
oneself这一切都是出于自我，自己利益。
• It is so important to find out “Why are we here
for?”寻找生存的意义是十分的重要
• What is our purpose of living?
我们生存的目的是什么呢？
• Colossians 歌 1:16 (NIRV)
16 All things were created by him. He created
everything in heaven and on earth. He created
everything that can be seen and everything that
can’t be seen. He created kings, powers, rulers
and authorities. Everything was created by him
and for him16 因 为 万 有 都 是 靠 他 造 的 ， 无
论是天上的，地上的；能看见的，不能
看见的；或是有位的，主治的，执政
的，掌权的；一概都是藉着他造的，又
是为他造的。
• All things were created by Jesus and for him.
万有都是藉着他造的，又是为他造的。
• We are created by Jesus (our Maker) for a
purpose. We can only get the answer of the
purpose of our existence from Him our Maker.
For example a computer is to fulfil the
designer’s purpose.耶稣(创造主)创造我们是
有衪的目的。唯有创造主才能够回答我们生存
的目的。正如计算机被创造以满足设计者的目
的。
Colossians 歌1:16(Message经文)
• We look at this Son and see God’s original
purpose in everything created. For
everything, absolutely everything, above and
below, visible and invisible, ….everything got
started in him and finds its purpose in him.我
们从祂的儿子可以看到神创造的目的。每
一无论是天上的，地上的；能看见的，不
能看见的；或是有位的，主治的，执政的，
掌权的；一概都是藉着祂造的，只有在祂
里面才能找到目的 。
• Who has the answer?谁有答案呢？
• The Lord Jesus has the answer of the purpose
of our existence!主耶稣才有我们生存的答
案!
• When we have the answer, what’s next?当我
们有了答案，下一步是什么?
• We can concentrate our energy to fulfil the
purpose that we have received 我们可以集
中精力去完成被创造的目的。
• Colossians 1:9-16 (NIV)
9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not
stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with
the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and
understanding that the Spirit gives,10 so that you may live a life
worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in
every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being
strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so
that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving
joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the
inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has

Thru Jesus 通过耶稣
1. To be filled with the knowledge of his will
去明白神的旨意
2. You may live a life worthy of the Lord
凡事蒙他喜悦
3. Bearing fruit in every good work
在一切善事上结出果子
4. Growing in the knowledge of God
对神的认识不断成长
5. being strengthened with all power
得以在各样事上力上加力
• Life has no meaning without connecting to
the source of life没有连接到生命的来源，
就没有生命的意义。
• Life has no meaning if we are not fulfilling
God’s purpose in our life如果我们不能满足
神给我们的生存目的，生命就没有意义。
We are created to我们被创造是:
1. be loved by him (John约 3:16)来被祂所爱
2. worship n serve him来敬拜及事奉神
3. look after his creation (Gen创 1:26)
去看顾祂的创造
4. love God & to love our fellowmen/women as
ourselves (Matt 太 22:37-39)
爱神和爱人如己
• If you seek to fulfill God’s purpose in your
life, you will be blessed abundantly
当你寻求去完成神给你的生命目的，你将
会被大大的祝福。
• Joseph, the son of Jacob, pursued to seek for
God. He was blessed abundantly in Egypt.
雅各的儿子约瑟，他积极寻求神，所以他
在埃及被神大大的祝福。
• His whole life was driven to fulfil the purpose of
God in his life.
他将一生献给神，去完成神给他的任务。
• His whole clan, Egypt a & all surrounding
nations were blessed because of him.
他的民族, 埃及和邻国也因他蒙福。
• A purpose driven life keeps us in focus of
what God wants us to do.标杆人生帮助我们
注目于神要我们做的事。
• A purpose driven life helps us to realize God’s
given full potential标杆人生帮助我们去发现
神所赐给我们的潜能
