• The Orange bellied parrot is a bird.

• It is only found in Australia.
Description
• An orange bellied parrot is just bigger then a
budgie. The male and female are slightly
different.
Habitat
• It is found in low scrub lands and grassy areas.
• It breeds in Tasmania. They live in trees.
Life Cycle
Orange bellied parrots nest in tree hollows. The
female lays eggs 2 days a part. Sits on them for
ten days. The babies leave the nest after 4
weeks.
Feeding
• Orange bellied parrots eat on the ground. It
eats flowers, fruit, seeds and berries.
• It lives in coastal areas.
Why are they endangered
• People are cutting down there homes
