This information must be suitable for year 8 pupils and cover all of the success criteria. You will be marked on how detailed and how well evidenced your research is. You must present this presentation to the class. The class will then give you feedback so that you have an opportunity to make amendments. It is up to you to design this document and fill in your current standing as an example. Second assignment You need to firstly design this professional development plan identifying certain areas. Secondly you must fill in the plan for yourself being as detailed as possible What you need to do Pass 2- Design a professional development plan that identifies current level skills and sets of targets Merit 2- Design a professional development plan that describes current skill levels and sets of detailed targets Distinction 2- Design a professional development plan that provides an explanation of current skill levels and sets well defined and measurable targets. Objective: To be able to design a professional development grid as a class Task You help contribute to a class discussion about designing a professional development plan that includes sections for the following: •List of appropriate skills •Current levels of achievement •Short term goals •Long term goals. Once this has been agreed by the whole class you must fill it in. Scenario You have been asked to work with this group of year 8 students on a termly basis to help them fill in their development plan. You will need to make sure yours is filled in as an example . Final assignment You need to revisit your professional development grid at the beginning of every term that you are studying your BTEC for. You need to describe how your are progressing through the course and meeting the short terms goals you are setting yourself.
