The deadlines have been pushed back one week:
An online peer review will be available for you to participate in beginning Oct.
21st. To participate, you will submit your essay to www.turnitin.com by Oct.
20 at 11:30 p.m.

name and your k12 school issued e-mail address! Only I will see who
submitted a paper and who wrote the reviews as long as you do not use your
name in your essay or have it on the essay "paper."

analysis of how the author characterizes Miss Brill.
• Then show how you know by using textual references and
explaining them to support your topic sentence.

• Make sure ALL entries are CLEARLY labeled and in order by number. If I have
to figure out the entry due to poor or missing labeling, you will lose points.

• Go to the main page of my website in the next couple of
days and complete the form: Form for titles chosen for
independent reading unit.
• Goodreads.com is a good resource for description of
books. Beware reading reviews though – tend ot have
plot spoilers.
• Clarification of groups and book choice options:
At least two people from the same class period must read
the same book. As many people as want to can read the
same book, but papers will be in pairs or groups of three.
Plan to have the book read by Nov. 7th or earlier.
Pairs or groups of three will write a collaborative paper to
an AP prompt. Details will come later.
