Rationale:
Drawing together:
• promotion of spiritual, moral, social and cultural development (SMSC) as set out in
Section 78 of the Education Act (2002)
• promotion of Fundamental British Values (DfE Guidance November 2014)
• Prevent Strategy for reducing the risk of radicalisation (2011)
• compulsory Citizenship set out in the National Curriculum 2014
