Me and my buddies,
walking along, saw a
funny old cat.
Well, lo and behold,
if the tale can be told,
he started chat!
He said, “Scat, cat!
And jazz like that.
What a purrfect
day today.”
Then he started to wink
and started to blink
and this is what he had
to say:
Vop voo dwee yop.
Moo lee yoo lee
yoo doo.
Wacka doo lacka doo
macka roo nee yoo too
Oh bonee oh bo.
Bee yoo bee yoo
bop bop.
Wa wa wa wah
Icky wickety woo.
Bubba loo bubba zoo
bubba bub bub boo
Oh vo dee yo do.
Me and my buddies,
sang right along with the
funny old cat.
Well, lo and behold,
since a tale can be told,
we started to scat!
We said, “Scat, cat!
Imagine that. What a
purrfect thing to do!”
You can come on along
and join in our song,
and you can be a scat
cat, too!
Vop voo dwee yop
Moo lee yoo lee

Wacka doo lacka doo

Oh bonee oh bo.
Bee yoo bee yoo
