Caterina Vozzi is a Research Officer of the Institute for Photonics and Nanotechnologies of the
Italian National Research Council (IFN-CNR). Since 2006 she is also a contract professor of Physics at Politecnico di Milano .
Dr Vozzi obtained her PhD in Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano in 2005. Her research activity has mainly focused on atomic and molecular physics, and in particular on the physics and applications of high-order harmonic generation and attosecond science.
Her current scientific interests concern of high-order harmonic generation by IR parametric sources for application to time-resolved spectroscopy and molecular imaging. Dr Vozzi has published extensively in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, authoring influential work in attosecond science. In 2012 Dr Vozzi was granted an ERC Starting Research Grant on Ultrafast molecular imaging .
