Deelnemers zijn 14 tot 84 jaar oud. Zeer
diverse achtergronden. Uit 186 Landen in
Leiden MOOCs. Er zijn 5500 certificaten
afgegeven. We hebben 53.000 deelnemers
in de MOOC’s tot nu toe gehad. Er zijn meer
dan 100.000 geïnteresseerden in Leidse
courses. In totaal 7.500.000 gebruikers
op het Coursera platform. In India is er
volgend jaar een tekort aan 300.000
academici. Wereldwijd groeit de vraag naar
hoger onderwijs van 97.000.000 in 2000
naar 262.000.000 in 2025
