Event Background
“Utsav 2011 ” is a song-based competition coined in lines with the most
popular Televised program ‘American Idol’ and ‘Asianet Idea Star
Singers’ for residents of labor camps across the UAE . Contest to be
spread across 10 camps over a period of 6 months. The competition
undergoes a series of stages which includes the following levels
‘Auditions’, ‘Quarter Final, ‘Grooming’ & Semi Finals’& the Mega Final.
Mechanics
•Winners to be picked jointly by the panel of judges.
• All levels will take place in respective camps there by ensuring
maximum popularity & audience strength.
• Grand Finals to be staged at a major labor camp area where
minimum 4000 to 5000 people can accommodate. Event to be graced
by popular playback singers from India.
