Coordination Process Today
• An annual process in North America to:
– Identify the Church-service missionary (CSM) and
volunteer needs of Church operations and approved nonChurch operations
– Assign stakes, as equitably as possible, to fill those needs
so that operations are appropriately staffed
– Enable local and area priesthood leaders to review and
approve the operational resource requests and stake
assignments
– Coordinate one request, from one source, once a year
• Last year over 10,000 CSM/volunteer positions and 26,000
volunteer shifts were requested and assigned
