2012 Exemplary/Exceptional Library Media Program Awards from the Georgia Department of Education.

• Erica McDonald, instructor at the Cobb/Paulding Adult Education Center, recently received the Teacher of Honor award from the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education.
• Veteran bus driver Michael Graham took top honors for the Cobb County Bus Road-e-o for a second straight year, then went on to capture first place at the state Road-e-o competition.
