Recommendation / proposal for solution: Consortium meeting in Amsterdam (03/2012) approved a new title of WP4: „Integration of EnGo dimensions into PhD programs“. TEMPUS 511390 – Environmental Governance for Environmental Curricula Perceived problems and their solution Example (2) Problem: Very late registration of project in Belarus and actual access to the project finance by Belarus partners was made possible only in February 2012. Reason: Tempus project EnGo started since October 15, 2010 and due to bureaucratic system of the international project registration in Belarus its registration was only on 8th December 2011. Measures for solution of problem: A portion of Belarus travel budget was retained at the coordinator's (P01) and during registration period some of the travel expenses were paid directly by the coordinator or by CEU (P02). TEMPUS 511390 – Environmental Governance for Environmental Curricula Perceived problems and their solution Example (3) Problem: Lack of knowledge about requirements in accordance with Bologna process for development of Master and PhD programs Measures: Expert from Curriculum Resource Centre of the Central European University (P02) gave series of trainings during seminars and consortium meetings, incl. examples of good practice. Other supporting actions: All consortium meetings were very much centred around the problem of introducing and better understanding the standards and the implementation of Bologna process in EU countries. TEMPUS 511390 – Environmental Governance for Environmental Curricula General comments and recommendations To elaborate and base a project proposal on of previous cooperation and practical experience with partners To construct realistic goals in the project (see WP4 our example, where we overestimated the real possibilities) To familiarize with the legislation, accreditation processes and expected changes in the partner countries To avoid formal "partners" and create partnership, good management and enthusiastic atmosphere from the beginning To find a good balance for the division of responsibilities between partners To initiate a way for sustainability of project - further prospects (Erasmus Mundus, EU Framework programs) To be prepared to solve all problems
