Good mastery of all basic math skills. (multiplication, fractions, managing multi-step problems) Strong math vocabulary. Conscientious about completing homework and studying. Grade 8 teacher recommends this level. Applied Marks lower than 70% in grade 8 particularly in Patterning and Algebra EQAO scores in grade 6 were level 2 or below Relies on a calculator or multiplication charts for basic facts Difficulty completing assignments Learns best from a practical hands-on method. Gr 8 teacher recommends this level.
