Important information for your international journey to and from Amsterdam
Due to festivities which take place in Amsterdam on Kingsday the international train service has been revised.
The international trains will not call at Amsterdam Central Station, but will depart from and terminate at the following stations:
- Thalys trains to/from Brussels, Lille and Paris: Schiphol Airport A ;
- InterCity Brussel to/from Antwerp and Brussels: Schiphol Airport A ;
- Intercity direct to/from Rotterdam Centraal and Breda: Schiphol Airport A
(less trains, no supplement required);
- ICE International to/from Cologne, Frankfurt and Basel: Utrecht Centraal 2 ;
- CityNightLine to/from Zurich and Munich: Utrecht Centraal 2 ;
- InterCity Berlin to/from Osnabrück, Hannover and Berlin: Amersfoort 3 .
Alternative journey
Please depart earlier from Amsterdam to catch your international train and try to avoid travelling from Amsterdam
Centraal. Consider to start your journey from e.g. Amsterdam Sloterdijk, Amsterdam Zuid or Amsterdam Amstel.
A Travel by domestic trains between Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport;
2 Travel by domestic trains between Amsterdam and Utrecht Centraal;
3 Travel by domestic trains between Amsterdam/Hilversum and Amersfoort. Please note: also alternations on Sunday evening 26th April and on Tuesday morning 28th April.
The luggage lockers in the stations Amsterdam Centraal, Amsterdam Amstel, Haarlem, Alkmaar, Amersfoort,
‘s-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg, Eindhoven and Dordrecht will be closed from Sunday 26 April 7.00 pm till
Tuesday April 28 7.00 am.
The luggage lockers in Utrecht Centraal will be closed from Sunday April 26
7.00 am till Tuesday April 28 7.00 am.
