BESTE WHISKYLIEFHEBBERS,
op de volgende pagina’s staan meer dan 500 whisky’s, aangeschaft tot en met 2013. Het zou zomaar kunnen,
dat we nu al weer whisky’s in huis hebben, die nog niet op deze kaart staan. Vraag het maar aan Bert, hij
praat je wel bij in PretZels……. Alle whisky’s staan alfabetisch op land en of regio gerangschikt, met vervolgens
wat beknopte informatie en eventueel de leeftijd, het jaar van distillatie als ook het alcoholpercentage en de
prijs. Wat de prijs betreft, vanwege kortere inkooplijnen dankzij onze whisky-award zijn alle whisky’s nog
steeds zo’n 20% goedkoper ! En dat blijft ook zo ! Bovendien, zoals je kunt zien, serveren wij niet de
standaard horecamaat van 3,5 cl, maar 4 cl, dus maar liefst 14% extra in je glas !
Tevens zijn whisky’s vanaf € 10,00 ook als halfje van 2 cl. te koop ! Handig als je eens een proeverijtje ter
vergelijking wilt doen of als je een exclusieve whisky toch eens één keer geproefd wilt hebben. Heel handig is
de indeling van bijna alle Schotse single malts in 10 clusters, zie de rode letters A tot en met J. Aldus zijn die
whisky’s op smaak geclassificeerd. Hieronder een omschrijving van de 10 clusters, inclusief 100 daaronder

Zelf een proeverij doen ? Dat kan ook ! Zoek zelf vier whisky’s uit of laat Bert met jou vier whisky’s uitzoeken,
waarmee je een vergelijkende proeverij kunt doen. Je krijgt dan vier whisky’s van 2 cl. elk, dus in totaal 2 hele
whisky’s, daar kun je prima van proeven. Er zijn legio mogelijkheden om eens te ontdekken hoe verschillend
whisky’s kunnen smaken: Soort (blend, luxe blend, blended malt, single malt) land (17 !), Schotse regio
(Lowlands, Highlands, Speyside, Eilanden), leeftijd (0,5 tot 50 jaar), vat (bourbon, sherry, wijn, nieuw), serie
(distilleerderij, onafhankelijke bottelaar), alcoholpercentage (40% tot 70%) turf (ja of nee) enz.

Some whiskies are negotiable, so you can cheapen your price making a bargain with your barkeeper. Sometimes the bottom price is
just a few euro's less, sometimes half the price or even more. This is because we bought these whiskies cheaper years ago, but now
they are priced at their value of january 2014. So ask for your discount or play higgle and haggle and try to get the bottom price !
Bij heel wat whisky’s zie je bij de prijs negotiable staan, dus op deze prijs kun je altijd afdingen. Er kan soms een paar euro van de
prijs af, soms ook wel de helft en bij enkele whisky’s nog meer. Dat komt omdat wij deze whisky’s ooit goedkoper hebben weten in
te slaan, maar dat deze nu geprijsd zijn naar hun waarde in januari 2014. Vraag dus gerust welke korting er van je favoriete whisky
af kan. Of speel gezellig het spel van loven en bieden, wie weet haal jij uiteindelijk voor jou het onderste uit de..…. whiskyfles !
