The houses were all made by the people of Shine. Soon they had to become makers of things using what they had on Shine because they didn’t have all of the technology of earth on Shine. They made gadgets like a spindle for making thread and a seed planter. The older members of the colony that could remember earth missed things like books, the wind and the clouds. After trying different ways only one way was most sufficient, catching trees on fire which softened the wood and made it cut like butter. The planted wheat and then it turned into glass but after grinded up it was editable and it tasted and cooked just like wheat on earth. The people of Shine had to figure out how to make clothing to replace what is worn out. They got moth wings and brewed them into a stringy soup. Then they dried out the fibers by pouring the soup through a tray of sand and leaving it out to dry in the sun. After it dried it will be spun into thread on a spindle then put on a loom and made into clothing.
