Amenities to include restrooms, concessions, parking, security, etc. (Access to venues is needed for four to six weeks in total, from course load-in to load-out). Competition: Venues to accommodate Course Space Requirements (see slide 6, 7). Cultural Elements: Venues to conduct cultural elements in music, style, and film. • Compounds: TV (250m x 130m), Logistics, Vendor, Rally, and Moto equipment & storage locations (50m x 50m each). One (1) area (25m x 25m) for Sponsor equipment and storage • Offices & Meeting Rooms: Sufficient climate-controlled work space and office equipment for 300 event & TV staff, 30 vendors. • Media Center: Location for Press Conferences and sufficient office equipment, work space, and hospitality for 200 accredited media. • Hospitality Space: Sufficient, climate-controlled lounge and catering facilities for Sponsors/VIPs (200), Athletes/Team Managers (560), Podium Club (200), Suite Guests (varies). • Staff Catering: Climate-controlled dining and kitchen facilities to serve 1,000 meals/day. • X Fest: 60m x 60m interactive sponsor village. • Parking: 420 total reserved parking spaces – 400 vehicle spaces and 20 truck spaces. 4,000 parking spaces for spectators. • Vehicle and Equipment Access: Required from the back of house staging areas to the competition courses at each venue. • Accommodation: Staff: 275 single occupancy hotel rooms at peak (minimum 3 star). Average 7 nights totaling 4,000+ room nights, over a 6 week period. VIP: 100 single occupancy hotel rooms at peak (minimum 4 star). Average of 4 nights totaling 420 room nights, over a 7 day period. Shuttle service for spectators to and from parking location. Airport Transfers for all athletes, VIPs, and staff. • Utilities and Municipal Services: Utilities: power, water, phone, internet, etc. required at specified venue locations. Services: transit system, emergency services, police, fire, sanitation. • Guest Services: Event Staff to assist guests with event information, attractions, services, schedules, etc. Equipment: • Equipment: Variety of handling equipment including: straight mast and reach forklifts, loaders, skid steers, water truck, street cleaner (Access to equipment is needed for four to six weeks in total, from course load-in to load-out). Specialty Equipment: Dependent on sport: concrete pump, crane, snow cats, winch cats, zaugg cutter, and excavator. On Venue Uphill Transportation: Adequate numbers of all terrain vehicles/snowmobiles for staff & athletes requiring on-course transport.
