The Banaue Rice Terraces (Tagalog:
Hagdan-hagdang Palayan ng Banawe) also
called Payew, are 2000-year old terraces
that were carved into the mountains of
Ifugao in the Philippines by ancestors of the
indigenous people. The Rice Terraces are
commonly referred to by Filipinos as the
"Eighth Wonder of the World".[][
Chocolate Hills
The Chocolate Hills is an unusual geological
formation in Bohol province, Philippines.[1]
There are at least 1,260 hills but there may be
as much as 1,776 hills spread over an area of
more than 50 square kilometres (20 sq mi).[2]
They are covered in green grass that turns
brown during the dry season, hence the
name.
El Nido, Palawan
El Nido (officially the Municipality of El Nido) is a first class municipality[2] and
managed resource protected area[3] inFirst Slide the province of Palawan in the
Philippines. It is about 420First Slide kilometres (260 mi) southwest of Manila,[4]
and about 238 kilometres (148 mi) northeast of Puerto Princesa, Palawan’s
capital.[3]
BORACAY
Boracay is an island of the Philippines located approximately 315 km (196 mi)
south of Manila and 2 km off the northwest tip of Panay Island in the Western
Visayas region of the Philippines. Boracay Island and its beaches have
received awards numerous times. Boracay was awarded in the "Travelers'
Choice 2011" by TripAdvisor as the second best beach (out of 25) in the
world.[2] Boracay made a debut appearance on the Top 10 Islands list in the
Travel + Leisure travel magazine World's Best Awards 2011, ranking
fourth.[3][4][5]
