He was born in 1454, in Florence, Italy.
In1491, he went to live in Spain.
Amerigo Vespucci’s first name was also Americas.
North America was named after him.
He worked for a ship repairing company.
FIRST VOYAGE
In 1495, he sailed on a Spanish ship.
He was a navigator on the Spanish ship.
He explored the northeastern coast of
South America.
HIS EXPEDITION
Amerigo Vespucci discovered the mouth of the Amazon.
He described places he explored as ‘New World.’
He also explored Asia.
CLOSE TO THE END OF HIS LIFE
Vespucci did all kinds of commercial businesses.
In 1491, he was sent to Seville Spain.
Amerigo Vespucci became the manager of Seville.
HIS DEATH
After all of his expeditions, his life came to his death.
In 1512, he died in Spain.
