Where will you find fresh, clean water to drink in a Rainforest? And how will you know that they is no alive bacteria floating around in it? However, if you do have alive bacteria floating around in it how will you take the bacteria out of it to make it safe to drink? Step Two: Food Eat the foods in the Rainforest which you are familiar with and the foods which you are sure with that are not poisonous. Eat alot of fruit which you are sure with and not berries because most berries are poisonous in a rainforest even though they don’t look poisonous. But where will you find food to eat and how will you know that it is not poisonous and is safe to eat and drink whether it is food or drink it may be poisonous or could be poisonous. Step Three: Build a fire Where will you find wood to build/start a fire? Is wood easy or hard to find in a Rainforest? Where will you find it? And how will you start and build a fire as well? Step Four: Build or find a shelter Where would you find a shelter to stay? And what would you find to build a shelter with to stay for the night to be safe in? Would you find a shelter to sleep in for the night or would you build a shelter for yourself to be safe in for the night? If you you did have to have to build a shelter what would you use to build yourself a shelter with? Would you use branches or trees or would you use leaves? Or would you use moss? Would you use sleep in a hammock and build it out of some trees, branches, leaves and moss? Or would you use a bit of old material that you with you to build it out of it? Step Five: Protect yourself Cover yourself up to prevent less bites and poisonous animals, creatures and insects. How can you protect yourself to prevent the decrease of bites and poisoned bites? How do you know which animals, creatures and insects are poisonous? What will you do if you get bitten by a poisonous animal, creature or animal? How will you invent a medicine or how will you cover yourself if you get a wound? Step six: Figure out of a signal Do you know when you will get or find help? How will you make a signal and how will you build a signal as well? What materials will you use to build a signal with and how will you get somebody’s attention with it to get out of the Rainforest? What can you make a signal with in a Rainforest? What materials will you use to build a signal? Will you wait for help or will you act fast and quick? Step Seven: First aid Remember first aid! How will you treat yourself if you get a cut, injure yourself or wound yourself. What will you use for first aid if you get hurt? Is there anything in a Rainforest which can help you if you get injured or wounded? What will you do if you get an infection or a disease? Carry on reading to find out more; of how you survive in a Rainforest. Good luck! Step One: Water Where will you find fresh, clean water to drink? Where will you find fresh, clean water to drink in a Rainforest? And how will you know that they is no alive bacteria floating around in it? However, if you do have alive bacteria floating around in it how will you take the bacteria out of it to make it safe to drink? Well, first of all the first step is if you ever get stuck in the Rainforest is to find fresh, clean water to drink. You can survive three whole weeks without food and only three whole days without water. Water is very valid and you can’t survive very long without it. You need water because it is very important and if you don’t drink any water for three whole days you will most likely die or get very; very ill. In addition to this you will dehydrate. You need water because it keeps your body hydrated and it is the most important fluid in your body that you definitely need to drink every single day. The amount of water that you need to drink every single day is eight glasses a day for adults and six glasses a day for kids, children and teenagers. The benefits of water is water is your body's major chemical element and makes up about 60 percent of your body weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of energetic organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues. Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don't have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. Even mild dehydration can drain your energy and make you tired. Everyday you lose water through your breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. For your body to function properly, you must refill its water supply by consuming drinks and foods that contain water. So, where will you find fresh, clean water to drink in a Rainforest? There are many sources of water in a rainforest. If you want to find fresh, clean to drink you should always find a swam of flies because then you would know that you are never far away from water. Springs and rivers be plentiful, carrying the runoff from the frequent rains which is very good. If you want to drink from Springs and rivers which is from the carrying the runoff from the frequent rains. You will first have to boil the water of and then it would be fresh and clean to drink. Furthermore it wouldn’t have any alive or dead bacteria floating in it and it would be safe to drink. You would boil water in a pot under a fire (Which you would have to start) and when it starts bubbling then make sure you blow out the fire and let it cool and settle for at least twelve hours and then eventually in the end it would be safe to drink. You could also find fresh, clean water to drink by finding a plant called a 'water vine‘. It holds water within itself. If you cut sections of the vine off, and good drinking water will pour out. Which is the best method to use because it is quick and easy. Even though finding the vine can be a pain in the neck because it is extremely hard finding the vine. The very first priority for any survivor in the Rainforest is to find water that is fit to be drunk. It is very easy to find water in the Rainforest, but one has to take safety measures in order not to drink contaminated water, because that could easily cause, not only, later health problems but, very possibly, serious and direct problems for your health. One of the main dangers in a Rainforest is to drink contaminated water ,because of the diseases you might catch such as dysentery, typhoid and even cholera; these waters also tend to be full of fleas, lice, vermin, bedbugs, pests, bugs and bloodsuckers and amoebas that will produce serious and many times fatal diseases. Amongst the parasites, one of the most dangerous ones is the tremátodos since they can be found in quiet pools and other contaminated waters. These parasites can enter your body, both through drinking the water or directly through your skin, as when you walk into a swamp. The way to avoid these illnesses is to boil your drinking water for at least three minutes or use water purifying tablets, or to wear your clothes when walking through a swamp. Muddy water from a swamp can be made drinkable, even if smelling bad, if it is boiled for at least three minutes and then let to settle for at least 12 hours and then sifted through a piece of cloth before drinking it will be safe and won’t harm you. They is a simple test to do to check if the water is contaminated. A simple test to determine whether water is contaminated is to pour some very fine sand on top of the surface of still water in a bowl. If the sand floats, the water is contaminated, since it is then more dense, but if it falls quickly to the bottom, it means that the water is reasonably clean. You can find safe drinking water in the nuts and shells of certain types of palm trees and you can also drink the droplets that gathers on the leaves of trees or inside some of the vines that hang from trees and that are at least of a thickness of 3 to 5 centimetres. The second step in the Rainforest is Food. You can survive three whole weeks without food which is a reasonable bit of time. But where can you find not poisonous food to eat and food that is not contaminated with any germs on it either? However food is easily available in the Rainforest, if you know how to find it. There is a production of animal life to eat. Monkeys are plentiful and tasty. Paca (a large rodent) tastes like roast beef. Alligators, piranha, and snakes are also tasty. Edible tubers such as potatoes, yucca, and boniato are quite tasty and plentiful, but so are poisonous tubers which shouldn’t be eaten because they can harm you. Fruit is also plentiful in the Rainforest and is very healthy as well. However, in the cases of finding something you do not recognise as having eaten before and when you are not sure if it is safe, it is always better to nibble on a small piece and after tasting it, wait for approximately an hour to see if it causes any opposing effects. It is preferable to peel them first and even boil them because they may contain pathogenic organisms. Do not eat them raw unless you recognise There is a lot of food in the Rainforest, but one must learn to recognise it and stay away from poisonous plants. If you see monkeys or other animals, including birds, eating from the fruits of a tree, these are usually, but not always, good to eat because they could be poisonous. You can also make stationary traps for fishing. You can always make yourself a fishing net and and catch some fish. You can start a fire and then cook them by getting a stick and hanging them on it and it will make a superb supper. But make sure you clean it before you cook it because you don’t want any nasty infections or diseases inside you. Look for coconuts, squash, cucumber, cashews, peanuts and citrus fruits, all of which are plentiful I the amazon also these fruits are very healthy. As well as eat berries, fruits, vegetables and nuts which your to avoid the risk accidental poisoning. In addition to this you should eat berries, fruits, vegetables and nuts which you are familiar with and have defiantly eat before. If your able to find fruit or catch fish from a lake/river, don’t hoard it, as it will attract wild life and spoil quickly in the tropical heat and humidity. Step Three: Build a fire Where will you find wood to build/start a fire? Is wood easy or hard to find in a Rainforest? Where will you find it? And how will you start and build a fire as well? Step three is to build a fire. So, where would you get wood from to build a fire with in a Rainforest? Is there lots of wood in a Rainforest to make a fire with or do you have to chop a tree down to get some wood? Well, basically if you want to start a fire whether to keep warm or for a signal or to cook something to eat or to scare predators away or to dry wet clothes or really whatever the reason is; they is a lot of reasons how you can make a fire. The first reason is that you can rub wood together to start a fire which can be found of small logs on the ground and small logs of wood can also be found in damp places for example like woodlice and very small insects and maybe small creatures because small insects and creatures like cold and damp places. Another idea is rubbing Flintstone together to create a spark. Another way would be either magnifying glass or natural fires could happen from a simple dew or raindrop hanging from a leaf and the to the angle of the sun which would be just right. Would you build yourself a shelter for the night to stay in or would you find yourself a shelter for the night to stay in? Would it be hard building your own self a shelter? What materials would you use to build it with? If you did not build yourself a shelter where would you stay for the night? Well, basically it is not that hard really if you think about it. If you do not build yourself a shelter then you can look around the Rainforest for a safe place to stay for the night for example often small caves can be found, but they are most often occupied. Some caves are occupied with other insects, creatures, animals and big predators can sometimes be found living in them for example Tigers, lions, bears , cheaters and maybe you might find a few bats here and there. You should never; ever share a cave with any big predators even if they are a sleep when you and go and find a cave and see them never stay there because they are dangerous and might kill you if they find you in the morning or the night or in the daytime because they might be scared of you or they might be angry because of you. Whatever that you want to do is find or build a shelter use whatever materials you have or you can find to protect yourself from heavy rains and flooding, insects, and poisonous spiders and snakes . Gather whatever you can to build your shelter with even if you find something and you might not think that it is necessary it might be necessary for later. Wilderness shelters can be built in varying shapes and sizes, generally depending on the builder's needs. There are loads of ways to build a shelter but the best way is to use whatever you have found or can found for example bits of trees, twigs, branches, leaves, moss, even grass maybe. It is basically whatever you find because the more your shelter will be and the more chance that is will not be porous and will be waterproof and will be relaxing and safe for you to stay in and also, that you won’t get harmed. Read on and there is a way to build yourself a shelter which won’t take long and will have all the good points that are mentioned a little bit before in the Survival Guide. Step one to build a shelter is to find a suitable place to build. Generally, the best place to build a shelter is in a "fringe", an area between an open field and dense underbrush. Having water nearby is important, however the shelter should be built no less than 50 yards away or the water vapour can carry body heat away. The second step is Search for an object to brace the shelter against. Long boulders or fallen trees can be ideal for bracing a shelter, but any large, permanent object can work. It is also, possible to tie a long branch between two other branches braced in the ground, though this can be more difficult and slightly less sturdy. Some people prefer to brace a sturdy, forked branch in the ground and lay a longer branch over the top. There are many different possible ways to build a lean-to. The third step is to find sticks to lean them against the horizontal brace. These sticks should be somewhat sturdy, as they will form a side of the shelter. Be sure that there is enough room between them and the brace for you to crawl inside comfortably this will keep you safe. Step four is to pile small branches and twigs over the stout sticks which you have collected hopefully. Leave only the two ends open. These sticks will form the other side of the lean-to shelter and will order it to not fall down. But, if it falls down it means that you haven't built it properly and that means you will have to build it again and I don’t think that you would like to build it again. Step five is to pile small wreckage such as leaves and moss over the shelter. This will provide further padding and protection from the elements. Nearly any small forest fragments will work, so long as it won't blow away readily you are safe and protected. The last and final step is to dig a pit for a fire. This will keep you away from danger for example predators like Cheetahs, Tigers, Bears and lions because this will warm the animals that they is dander alert. Also, this will keep you safe and not in danger. In order to ensure your safety and the safety of the forest and anyone around, be sure to dig a small pit to contain the fire. Keep it a safe distance from any underbrush and your shelter. Clear away all rubbish that could catch fire. Also, if you want to sleep on the floor in the Rainforest because you don’t want to build yourself a shelter because you don’t want to or you can’t be bothered or you don’t know how to. Do not never; ever, ever sleep on the floor in the Rainforest because it is dangerous and you might get bitten by a poisonous animal and then you could get an infection or a disease. If you want to sleep outside in the Rainforest then make yourself a hammock. Which is very impressive and is very comfortable at the same time as well. You could make your hammock with an old, ragged piece of cloth that you have or you could be creative and make it out of wood, trees, branches, leaves, moss and loads, loads more whatever you can find to build it more better and it will have less chance of falling down and will have more positive points about it than negatives about it. Another way is to build a bed but on stilts on the ground so it can also, be safe to sleep there. You can use the same kinds of materials that you could use to make your hammock with. Shelter is not really hard in the all you have to do is to make sure that you don’t sleep on the floor and then basically you are all right because then you won’t get bitten, an infection, a disease, a wound or whatever that can happen to you. The good points about your shelter is that it needs to be strong, waterproof, not porous, is high enough from the ground and that; well that is it. How can you protect yourself to prevent the decrease of bites and poisoned bites? How do you know which animals, creatures and insects are poisonous? What will you do if you get bitten by a poisonous animal, creature or animal? How will you invent a medicine or how will you cover yourself if you get a wound? The next step is to protect yourself so you don’t get hurt or injure yourself and end up getting a wound. So, how do you actually cover yourself up to decrease the reduce of bites. Step one if you get a nasty bloodsucking creature or insect on your arm or anywhere on your body then you can’t simply just pull it of you will hurt yourself and it will definitely not come of because nasty bloodsucking creature or insects do not come of your body because they stick to your skin no matter how long you pull at them they won’t come off unless you put Vaseline on them. Keep your skin covered. Roll down your sleeves and cover your face as much as you can to avoid scratches and insect bites. Wear pants instead of shorts. Treat any wounds immediately and as properly as possible because if you don’t treat them properly you could get an infection. Cover all your body and wear long-sleeved clothes wear big heavy boots. But if you don’t have big boots then first wrap your feet in plastic bags to protect them from getting wet and this will also help them not getting bitten. Do you know when you will get or find help? How will you make a signal and how will you build a signal as well? What materials will you use to build a signal with and how will you get somebody’s attention with it to get out of the Rainforest? You don’t know when you are going to get help so it is better to react first than staying there for a long time and figuring a signal out for a very long time. If you want to get out of the Rainforest quick here are some ways that will help you to get out of the Rainforest. You could make the word SOS meaning “Save Our Souls”. You could make this word by using reflecting objects such as a powerless laptop. Also, if a plane crash got you into the Rainforest you could arrange a debris so that a search party would come and look for you this will help if you have done the word “SOS” so whilst the search party are looking for you then, they will roughly know where you are because you have done the wording so they will know where you are. But, if you didn’t want to anyone of these things then you could just wait for help and sooner or later search parties will come and look for you because they would haven already figured out that the plane crashed and they would send search parties to come and look for you but this would be better if you made a signal yourself and then if you did make the word “SOS” when the search parties come and look for you then they would know because they can se the word from the air. Remember first aid! How will you treat yourself if you get a cut, injure yourself or wound yourself. What will you use for first aid if you get hurt? Is there anything in a Rainforest which can help you if you get injured or wounded? What will you do if you get an infection or a disease? First is very important in a Rainforest because what happens if you get a nasty disease or an infection that is contagious what are you going to do about it then? Because you can’t just it there can you because it could or might kill you. Bug bites is a nasty nuisance and in some cases and can lead to an infection. To repel the infections or diseases or wounds or cuts or whatever you have rub yourself with garlic; which is a natural defence. So what, if you smell like a person in a restaurant or someone who is cooking food which is mentioned with garlic because it will help you because it will repel the infections and diseases. Also this will scatter mosquitos and other fanged pests. Step Eight: How do you get out of the Rainforest? How would you get out of the Rainforest? What would you use to help you get out of the Rainforest? When would you get out? Would you just wait for help or would you act fast? Living in a Rainforest can be hard but if you follow this Survival Guide then you will have no problems with it and you will be able to survive and you won’t get any nasty infections, bites, diseases or anything else that can or could happen to you. One sure fact is that you won’t die and you will happily live! So how will or do you get out of the Rainforest. If you want to get out of the Rainforest all you have to do is stick to your chosen direction. Choose something far away and walk to it. Then, choose another object in the same direction and walk to that if you find something that may or could mean that you are going in the right direction then go in that direction because you may find a way out. Always go down hill because you will always find water when you go down hill. If you find water down hill then you will always find people because where ever there is water they will always be people. Use a stick or a branch as a guide to help you walk through the Rainforest this will help you to make way for yourself to help you get out of the Rainforest. Remember always Pay close attention to your surroundings and landmarks and relate this to your location on a map. Staying calm is very important because if you panic then that is your greatest enemy you could get stressed and you automatically loose the direction that you are going in. Trust your map and compass (if you have them) and do not walk aimlessly. Use the compass to give you a sense of direction. Think of which way you came, and if that was Northeast, and then recall if you took a turn and what the direction the turn was. If you are calm, you can remember a great many things. If you are on a trail do not leave it. A very good point is to start retracing your steps. Leave markers where ever you go, so you can return to where you are. Also, if someone tries to find you, they will look for markers. So make as many as you can, on every turn that you make, and try to mark the direction you are taking. You got off the trail, maybe ten minutes ago, so if you track back more than that time, you know you are on the wrong track. Remember that if you are not able to retrace your steps, then the best thing is to just stay put, in one place and let the searchers find you. Create a marking so it can be seen by air. Sing loudly or shout help, when you hear others trying to find you. If you have a whistle, blow it or use a blade of grass. Stay in the open so they can find you easily. Do not hide in a cave or under brushes. If you are still lost by nightfall then you should always stay placed where you are until morning, if you are injured, or if you are near exhaustion. It is smarter to stay put and try to find your way out in the daylight. Remember that as a last resort, follow a drainage or stream downhill or downstream. This can be hard going but will often lead to a trail or road and you will eventually come to civilization which will be amazing and great news for you. Here are some tips and warnings of “How You Survive In A Rainforest”! If you find wildlife that looks like it wants to make you dinner, stay calm. Try to slowly get away and listen closely for movement. Do not attempt to run. Most predators will thoughtlessly chase escaping prey. Always keep to the trail, never wander off. This will keep you from getting lost in the first place. Make sure you bring plenty of matches or a lighter. Along with this bring even more water than you expect to drink. This is not for the daily drinking, but more for being prepared if you get lost. Drink to rehydrate - rationing small sips of water will moisten your mouth, but will not keep you alive. A good rule of thumb is to drink no less than 4 ounces of water at a time. Remember always drink salty water because if you drink salty water then you will not dehydrate. But, if you do drink salty water then you will dehydrate because if you drink normal water which is not salty then you will get thirsty after a few minutes and if you drink salt water then you will get thirsty not that often.
