The bases of economy are industries,
which are characterized by diversity.
The most successful are construction
companies, food, textile, pulp and paper
and electronic equipment industries.
In October 2010 new mayor and deputies were elected to the Ternopil City Council.
As a result of elections a deputies majority was formed by representatives of
the same political party "Svoboda" (Liberty), headed by the mayor of
Ternopil.
That started a new stage in the City development.
OPENESS, TRANSPERENCY, COOPERATION, INNOVATIONS,
GUARANTEE these are main principles of work of new power.
