Steel doors and frames are produced fully finished in stainless steel, or may be powder coated
to any BS or RAL color.
Technical details
Door construction of 1.2mm steel, with internal reinforcing and a thermally insulated core. Leaf
thickness 45mm. Lock seamed edges for strength and neat appearance. External doors may
have the integrated astragal / overhanging flange option to the lock edge for enhanced security
and weatherproofing.
Frame construction of 1.2mm steel, with internal reinforcing, integral frame adjusting screws
and flexible weather seals. Heavy duty stainless steel butt hinges, with or without security pegs.
12 fixing points through jambs.

AFD-02
The AFD-02, part of FIRE END range of fire doors, is a slim line steel glazing system for
applications where aesthetics are as important as function.

The main profiles may be constructed from mirror
Polished or satin stainless steel, brass, bronze, or polyester powder coated steel to any BS or
RAL colour. Closers and handles are available in complementary materials and finishes.
Glazing is available in standard single or double glazed units, which may be toughened,
laminated or fire resistant, clear, obscure, coloured or textured.
Technical details
Typical profile sizes 50mm x 50mm and 50mm x
70mm. Profile gauge in 1.5, 1.8 or 2.0mm steel. Weather seals to frame and door profiles
.Removable steel glazing beads for easy glass replacement. Adjustable surface mounted hinges
are available for single action doors, or floor springs and pivots for double action doors. Closers
may be surface mounted or concealed.
The AFD-02 is fire rated for up to 2 hours depending on configuration and size.

features such as controlled closing speeds, holdopen, back-check and delayed closing, which
help with security, environmental control and
easy passage of people.
Electromagnetic closers may be linked to fire
alarm systems, so that doors
may be safely held open in normal use, only
closing in the event of an alarm.
AFD-03
The AFD-03, part of FIRE END range of steel door set, is an elegant security door ready fitted to
frame . Made to measure and available in standard and escape versions . The AFD-03 models
are fully finished , available in range of colours and suitable for exterior and interior use.

Door construction of double skinned, plastic coated and galvanised steel with internal
reinforcing and an insulated core. Thickness 45 mm. Sheet thickness 1.5 mm. Flanges to all
four sides for security and earth proofing. Two adjustable steel hinges with bearings. Three
security pegs to hinge side. Mortice sash lock with euro cylinder and tubular safety handles.
Easy-fix reinforced steel frames, with flexible seals and removable thresholds. Double door set
fixed leaf with concealed flush bolts top and bottom. Active leaf with mortice lock and lever
handles.
