Monday, Thursday & Friday (5x30minute

• All training sessions and matches will be covered by fully
qualified Sports Therapists and/or Physiotherapist from
Stevenage FC
• Acute injury management at all training sessions and
matches
• Largest and most experienced medical department the
academy has ever had
• Academy Doctor on site with weekly clinics

• Private medical treatment room
• Fully equipped gym/rehabilitation studio
• Access to grass and astro pitches for return to training
rehabilitation
• Regularly revised EAP’s
• Medical Gasses, AED, Spinal Collars, stretchers,

Facilities and Equipment
• To ensure the health and safety of all players
• Provide accurate information on each medical and physical
attribute
• Be easy to implement and therefore repeatable at times other
than those mandated
• Allow collection of the most useful information in the shortest
possible time
• Provide a method to identify and track the medical and
physical status of young players
• Allow comparisons against baseline data upon onset of injury
throughout season

the website for your viewing

- Ankle, thigh and hamstring specific
programmes
• Corrective exercises devised from medical screening

Injury Reduction
• If players report injured to the medical department then
they must receive clearance to return to training
• Failure to do so will revoke their right to treatment at
Stevenage FC for any recurrence of injury
• This is to ensure that an audit of injuries can be kept and
that effective strategies can be implemented to reduce
injury incidence

• Do parents have to attend?
No… Players will be looked after by coaches at a ration of roughly
1:6
• Is the payment structure fixed?
No… Payments are flexible – (weekly? £15pw monthly? £65pm) All
we require is the total amount by the deadline of February 7th 2015.
• Is there any financial support?
Possibly? Fundraising events will take place before the tour to try and
lower cost or Include kit! Sponsors are always welcome!!
• Can siblings come?

• Is it safe?
Your son will be contained in a gated sports complex 1000 meters up a
mountain! He will Eat, Sleep & Breathe football!!!
