Immediate life insurance cover

For all non-medical cases life insurance cover will
begin on premium payment

Decision on immediate cover will be shown to the
customer before premium payment

Risk commencement (RCD) will be equal to the
premium received date

Immediate cover will be subject to manual de-dup
(UW): In case of any discrepancy, the cover will
be cancelled and refund of premium will be
initiated

Death benefit


In the unfortunate event of death of the Life Assured during
the term of the policy, the nominee shall receive the following

application form / if there is an error, do I have to start the
application all over again?
 At any time during the online application process for iProtect if
a user drops out & leaves an incomplete application form, an
auto email is sent to the email address which the user has
provided in course of the application process.
 The user can resume the application by simply clicking on the
link received in this email.

What confirmation do I get for iProtect when I apply online?
 When you complete the online application, after the payment
is done, for iProtect an auto email is sent to the customer's
email address entered during the application process & a SMS
is also sent to the customers mobile number as mentioned
during the online application.

What about the process post the online application? Like
medicals, underwriting, etc.
 The rest of the process stays the same as the normal process.

How much time does it take to complete a transaction?
 The entire application process would take about 10-12 minutes
using a normal internet connection.

While making the online payment for iProtect, there was an error
message shown on the payment gateway. So does that mean that
the payment did not go through?
 Errors at the payment gateway stage, though rare, are
observed. The most common concerns are if the payment has
been received at our end or if the payment has been made
twice

In any such situations, it is advisable to check with the
bank/credit card company for details of the payment

In case a customer’s credit card or internet banking account
gets charged twice & it is verified & confirmed at our end, then
the extra premium charged would be refunded as per the
existing reversal process.
