DECREE Art. 1 Activation of the Joint Master Program The University of Milano‐Bicocca hereby announces the activation of the Joint Master Program of “1st Level” in “International Business Development” (MAIB), for the Academic Year 2015‐2016. The Joint Master Program is announced within the Cooperation Agreement between the University of Milano‐Bicocca and the following foreign institutions: 
Alliance University (Bangalore, India) 
Centennial College (Toronto, Canada) The International Joint Master Program is co‐financed by Fondazione Cariplo within the 2011 call “Promoting Excellence in Human Capital Education” The Master Program offers the following choices – a) MAIB + IBM – 14 months Two simultaneous degrees:  First Level Master Degree from University of Milano‐Bicocca ‐ MAIB;  Ontario College Graduate Certificate from Centennial College, Toronto ‐ IBM Achieved with a total of 90 credits (based on University Credit System) Università degli Studi di Milano‐Bicocca Piazza dell’Ateneo Nuovo, 1 20126 Milano A1_MAFOP_FC_BandoMaster01_Rev.25_02-03-2015

Program includes 3 months internship anywhere, except in Canada (see point b). b) MAIB + IBM + Internship period at Centennial College (in order to explore opportunity to work in Canada) Those students interested in exploring the option of working in Canada will have to enroll at Centennial College for the Internship period in order to match Joint Master Program requirements (3 months internship) together with Canadian Visa norms. This would allow students to obtain a 8‐12 months long work Visa for Canada. Our partner Centennial College will provide all information to students interested in living and working in Canada. University of Milano‐Bicocca, Milan, Italy – 1st period Alliance University, Bangalore, India – 2nd period Centennial College, Toronto, Canada – 3rd period Internship – 4th Period Art. 4 Available seats In order to maintain a high quality education program, we have restricted the number of enrolments to a maximum of 35 participants (and a minimum of 12). The admission is subjected to the number of seats available. In case of non‐commencement of the Master Program for any inevitable reason, the enrolment fee already paid by the participants shall be reimbursed with the exception of bank transfer expenses, in accordance with the administrative rules of the University of Milano‐Bicocca. Art. 5 Admission Requirements The Joint Master Course is open to candidates with 3 years bachelor degree across any discipline or its equivalent, having obtained the degree from an accredited college or university in Italy or in any other country. Final year students in Italy can apply provided that they are going to graduate within the first graduate session after the commencement of the Master’s Course teaching activities and – at the time of the selection process – they only miss the activities related to the final test. If selected, these students will be enrolled conditionally subject to the stated guidelines of the University of Milano‐
Bicocca. The students after having received the required degree within the specified period of deadline, would need to inform the Secretary Master course at the University of Milano‐Bicocca. In case of failing to acquire the required degree mandatory for admission to the Master Course within the specified period of deadline, they will lose their seat and therefore will not be allowed to attend the course or get any certifications. In this case, the enrolment fee shall not be refunded. The enrolment to the Joint Master Course forbids simultaneous enrolment to any other courses offered by Milano‐
Bicocca or any other university. Art. 6 Tuition Fees and Financial Aid Tuition for the various options of the Master Program are: a) MAIB + IBM – Tuition Fee: € 15,000.00 The payment needs to be made as below: b) 
€ 100.00 at the time of submission of the application (to University of Milano‐Bicocca); 
€ 7,600.00 at the time of enrolment (to University of Milano‐Bicocca); 
€ 3,000.00 in favor of Alliance University‐Bangalore no later than December 15, 2015; 

Additional cost for the internship period in Canada: € 3,500.00 (to be paid directly to Centennial College at the time of enrolment for internship on the basis of the information provided by Centennial College). c) MAIB + IBM + MBA – Additional study period at Alliance Business School, Bangalore India Additional cost for MBA period at Alliance University: € 4,900.00 (to be paid directly to Alliance University at the time of enrolment for the MBA course). *********** The above contributions are inclusive of the issue of original MAIB Master Degree and cover the costs towards stamp duties and insurance coverage. In case of withdrawal by a selected candidate before carrying out 25% of the teaching program, the candidate ranking next in the enrolment list will be admitted. In this case, no refund of fees shall be granted. SCHOLARSHIPS In order to assist students with the cost of the program, we are providing some scholarships offered by Fondazione Cariplo: • 5 scholarships of € 7,600.00 each (gross), to be assigned on the basis of merit from first to fifth place in the admission ranking • 5 scholarships of € 5,000.00 each (gross), to be assigned on the basis of merit from the sixth to tenth place in the admission ranking The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the merit list and will be reimbursed to the selected students during the academic course of the MAIB Master, as approved by the Coordination Committee of the Joint Master Program. The assignees will have to pay the entire amount planned for the University Milano‐Bicocca at the time of enrolment, as indicated in art. 6 of this announcement. The undergraduates eventually admitted to the master under condition (see art. 5) are excluded from the allocation of these scholarships. In case of additional funds received from external bodies (currently being developed), more scholarship awards will be provided as approved by the Coordination Committee of the Joint Master Program. The assignees of Fondazione Cariplo’s scholarships will be excluded from the allocation of these additional scholarships. We would like to inform that Our partner Centennial College (under their sole responsibility) is extending a scholarship of 2,500.00 CAD $ to all Canadian students who wish to enroll for the Joint Master Program. Candidates not registered should log‐in with a new account and are required to enter their personal data, residence address, eventual alternative address, telephone, e‐mail address, etc. Candidates who have been registered users will get direct access to the system (log in) using their existing personal credentials. Candidates should follow the instructions and specify they wish to enroll as ‘students’ (category without reserved places). Please Note: The candidates are required to provide the identity proof by attaching a copy of the ID document and a digital picture with a resolution of at least 300x4.00 pixel. Besides this, the candidates need to upload on their personal profile Curriculum Vitae signed, other degree credentials, copy of the English certification and a personal statement (not exceeding 1000 words). At the end of the procedure, candidates should print out their application form which is valid as a receipt and therefore it must be kept safely by the candidate, together with the receipt of the MAV form of € 100.00 to be paid within the deadline indicated on the form at any post office or bank. In case needed, it is possible to print again the electronic MAV by connecting to the Segreterie online http://www.unimib.it/go/756030316. Payment receipt must be kept carefully by the candidate. The University Administration reserves the right to ask for written proof of payment. For the candidates selected to the Joint Master Program, the € 100.00 application fee paid will be considered as part of the first installment (requiring the candidate to pay 1st installment minus € 100.00). In case of exclusion, or failure to complete in the admission process, the application fee paid shall not be refunded. A notarized Italian translation of the degree, certified by authorities of the degree issuing country Copies of Academic Transcripts / Marks Cards of Qualifications attained A value declaration issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate in the degree issuing country or a Diploma Supplement issued by the same institution that issued the degree; based on the model developed by the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO / CEPES; The aim of the above mentioned documentation is to verify and confirm all declarations made when applying for admission to the master and ought to be submitted on enrolment. Should the candidate not be in the position to provide those documents as not yet in his/her material possession, he/she will be required to provide a document issued by the competent authorities proving that such documents have already been duly requested. In any event, all the documentation relating to the foreign diplomas must be provided not later than 28th February 2016. Copy of Visa/Permit of Stay (only for non EU candidates) Art. 9 Admission Procedure The admission procedure will be based on the educational credentials, evaluation of the curriculum, English certification score (TOEFL, IELTS, CPE) and personal statement. Final selection to the Joint Master Course will be complete by 10th July 2015 at University of Milano‐Bicocca. The Evaluation Committee will be appointed by the Joint Master Course Coordination Committee. Art. 10 Admission list Candidates will be admitted to the Joint Master Course according to the admission list order that will be published on 20th July 2015, and will be limited to the number of seats available. Admission list will be published on the University of Milano‐Bicocca website at the following link http://www.unimib.it/go/37616058 Art. 11 Enrolment Procedure All candidates are required to complete the enrolment procedure from the day after the announcement of the final selection list and no later than 10th September 2015 as specified below. 1. In case of any candidate does not having the same, then they must submit a document which verifies that the request for the same is under process with the competent authorities and shall be submitted at a later date. Selected candidates who do not enroll within the specified deadline shall be regarded as having renounced the seat and will lose the right to admission to the Joint Master Course. In this case, the Program Secretary will contact the next applicant in the admission list by e‐mail at the address given at the time of submission of the application for admission. Incomplete enrolment forms will not be considered. Art. 12 Special Students Category – Uditori (those who wish to only sit for the courses as listeners without giving exams and getting any certification) There is no provision of enrolment under this category. Art. 13 Special Students (Who wish to attend Individual Courses) Students can apply for individual courses provided by the University Milano‐Bicocca under the Joint Master MAIB, for a maximum of 20 credits in total. Number of seats available: maximum up to 7. Selection procedure: Admission to individual courses is done without a selection procedure, except for the verification of the minimum eligibility requirement (the same as for the Joint Master Program). Tuition fee: € 100.00 per CFU. Application form can be downloaded from the website http://www.unimib.it/go/11557953. The admission is open till the number of seats available, with effect from the day of call of applications to not later than 10th September 2015. The enrolment form must be accompanied by a passport‐size photograph to be affixed on the application. Each candidate will receive through e‐mail the MAV copy to be used for the payment of the registration fee. Enrolment is legally valid only after the payment to the course has been made (using MAV) and the receipt confirming the payment e‐mailed as scanned copy to ufficio.master@unimib.it. The payment must be made before the Joint Master Program starts. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Art. 14 Mandatory attendance, attainment of the final degree and customer satisfaction The attendance to the MAIB Master Course is mandatory. It is mandatory to have an attendance equal to or greater than 75% of the hours of teaching activity and to having passed all the exams in order to get the Joint MAIB Master Degree. MAIB Master Program grants a total of 90 (CFU) University Credits on completion of the course and will award 1st Level University Master Degree. As part of the evaluation process, at the end of the teaching activities of the program, the students will be sent on their e‐

program secretary. In case the student has not given any email address, the questionnaire will be sent to the email address assigned by the University. Art. 15 Withdrawal of benefits and reasons for exclusion Pursuant to art. 75 of Presidential Decree 445/2000, if the Administration finds, on the basis of appropriate checks, the false statements/declaration made by any candidate, the candidate shall be withdrawn from any benefits received because of false declarations. The university administration has no responsibility in the event of loss of postal communication, due to wrong residence address of the candidate, failure or delay in notification of change of address, or for any postal or telegraphic disservice. Art. 16 Treatment of personal data As per the provisions of the Legislative Decree no. 196, June 30, 2003, the University undertakes to respect the confidential nature of the information provided by the applicants: personal data will be processed and treated exclusively for the execution of the procedures related to the current Joint Master Program and within the University services, in conformity with the regulations in force.
