Reception Following The Lecture In The LA Café Dr. Wing-Chun Wong was a member of the Towson University Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies from 1993 to 2001. This memorial lecture is intended as a tribute to him as a scholar, colleague, and a friend. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dr. Donald Kuspit received his Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Frankfurt (Germany) and his second Ph.D. in Art History at the University of Michigan. He has completed studies at the Psychoanalytic Institute of the New York University Medical Center. He has honorary degrees in Fine Art at Davidson College and from the San Francisco State University. He is The Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Art History and Philosophy at the State University of New York, Stony Brook. He is Senior Critic at the New York Academy of Art. He has published several books with Cambridge University and also several books with other publishers. His books include, The Cult of the Avant-Garde Artist, The Dialect of Decadence, Health and Happiness in Twentieth Century Art, New Subjectivism: Art in the 1980’s, Signs of Psyche in Modern and Post-Modern Art.
