Program Description • Cross-cultural experience in Cork, Ireland • The opportunity to work with Irish professionals and deliver services to individuals with developmental disabilities. • Learn about Irish history, culture and traditions through in/out of-country travel and attendance at social and cultural events. Can be in groups. ▫ 10 minute oral presentation to the group on your paper topic • SPED 4440S/7440S: Practicum Study Abroad in Ireland ▫ This is your placement experience Stuff you need to know • Program Fee: $2836.00 ▫ Not including Airfare or tuition ▫ Does include: lodging in student apartments with private bedroom and bath on University College Cork campus Insurance orientation and departure meals, transportation to and from either Shannon Cork city bus pass for 5 weeks Cork City, County Cork, Gouganne Barra and other group tours, cultural events (e.g. entry fees to sports match, concert, etc.).
