Our customer, based in Flemish Brabant, Belgium, is a worldwide supplier of solutions for
industrial and automotive applications
RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize, plan and manage the Europe OE service sales (OED) of several larger
accounts. This account manager shall, according to the Global OE sales process,
maintain and support the existing business, but have a clear focus on new
opportunities to grow OED sales (captive and non-captive).
Actively chase, develop and implement new business opportunities. Drive for
realization of these projects within agreed parameters (cost, quality, timing…).
Develop and manage Europe OED strategy, account plan, pricing, projects and quotes.
Maintain and expand the OED relationship at different levels in support of account
goals.
Work in conjunction with these OED relations on marketing, training, campaigns,
retention, promotion in order to grow common sales
Analyze and counteract competition activities and initiatives on the OED market.
Negotiate pricing and terms & conditions with the OED account, when necessary in
coordination with the OE Key Account Manager
Support the OE Key Account Manager with OED recommendation to increase new OE
project wins.
Sales volume: above 20 Million Euro with significant growth potential and goal
Frequent travel to customer locations within Europe. Occasional intercontinental
travel.

REQUIREMENTS

-
You have minimal 5 years proven sales experience in an aftermarket environment,
preferably with automotive/on-road aftermarket. A technical education or background
is an advantage.
Familiar with aftermarket sales, cross references, promotion, marketing and
competition. Understands what is important to OE aftermarket organization, dealers
and end users, and is able to propose and implement initiatives.
You are well organized and structured, showing a proactive and strategic approach,
communicative and a self-starter
Maturity and confidence to be able to relate to different functions, responsibilities and
management levels at customer and internal to achieve the goals
Fluent in English and German. Dutch language is an asset.
Expert use of MS Office tools
Flexibility to travel (also internationally) to assure continuous visibility at customer and
customer’s dealers and final end users, coordination with plants and departments.
Knowledge of material processing: plastics, steel, aluminum, rubber…
Excellent communication skills
Strong in problem solving and conceptual thinking
Fluency in English
