Fra Varden kan man beskue Molde by, fjorden med
holmene og det berømte Moldepanoramaet med 222
delvis snøkledde fjelltopper. 10 minutter med bil eller
1 time til fots på natursti fra sentrum.
From Varden you can see Molde itself, the fjord,
islands and islets, and the famous panorama with its 222
mountain peaks. It is a 10-min. drive or a 1-hour hike
along a footpath from the town centre.

11 200 sitteplasser. Molde Fotballklubb spiller i Elitedivisjonen i Norge og dette er lagets hjemmearena.

west of the town centre and is designed by the Molde
architect Kjell Kosberg. Seating 11 200. Molde Football Club is playing in the highest division in Norway,
and this is their home arena.

PLASSEN
Fredet herskapsvilla og hageanlegg fra 1918
restaurert til fordums glans. Parken er åpen og har
utendørs utstilling om hageanleggets historie og
familien som bodde her. Gratis adgang til hagen.
Kirken ble innviet i 1957 og er en toskipet
langkirke i gotisk stil. Et 50 meter høyt frittstående
klokketårn ender i en kobberkledt pyramide. Roser på
Rådhustaket i juni-august.
Byens nye kulturelle storstue. Her kan man
benytte seg av et bredt spekter av kulturtilbud, eller
bare nyte arkitektur og utsikt. Bibliotek, teater, kunstsenter, Moldejazz og Bjørnsonfestivalen.
Listed restored mansion and grounds from 1918.
The park features an outdoor exhibition about the
history of the gardens and the family that used to live
here. Free entry to the grounds.
The cathedral, which was consecrated in 1957, is
a double-nave long church in a Gothic style. A 50
meter high freestanding bell tower culminates in a
copper-clad pyramid. Roses at the town hall roof in
June-August.
Molde’s new cultural arena. Take advantage of the
varied activities on offer, or simply relax and enjoy the
architecture and the view. Library, theatre, art center,
Moldejazz and the Bjørnson festival.

Folkemuseum med bygninger og interessante interiører fra hele regionen. ”Bygata” med Mali’s Café viser
typiske byhus fra førkrigstiden i Molde.

is full of architectural examples of town houses from the
interwar period, such as the charming Mali’s Café.

Start from the town center or Romsdal Museum, and follow signs towards
Varden via the Storlihytta cabin. Mostly
gravelled path all the way up. From the
top you have a good view over the
Molde panorama with no less than 222
mountain peaks! Alternative return follow signs towards the Skihytta cabin,
and get back down again at Vardevegen.

Romsdalsmuseet, og følg skilting mot
Varden via Storlihytta. Grusa sti hele
vegen opp. Fra toppen ser man ut

Vardevegen.
