Do You Know How to Dress for Success?

1. In today’s job market, it does not matter what you wear to an interview as long as you are comfortable.

2. You should wear a large amount of perfume or cologne to show the interviewer that you care about your appearance and you are clean and neat.

3. You should limit the amount of makeup, jewelry, and other accessories you wear during the interview.

4. If you have a body piercing or tattoo you should not remove or cover it up for the interview. It is better the interviewer know you have one before they hire you.

5. Black, brown, and navy are good colors to wear during an interview. Dark colors present a more professional appearance.

False: Too much perfume of cologne can be a distraction. Many people have allergies as well. You should leave a lingering impression…not a lingering scent!

 Add a conservative silk tie (that matches the colors in your suit)

Refrain from chewing gum, candy, or other objects in your mouth
