Modus Operandi
Reporting For Duty
Arrive at the SV Office Opal 106 half an hour before your shift
Identify your team leader and listen to him
Performing Shift Duty
Team Leaders will brief you what to do and what to not do
Don’t leave your post, unless your Team Leader allows you to
Reporting Off Duty
Wait for your team leader to arrive to your venue
Follow him back to the SV Office Opal 106

Be approachable, polite, composed respectful and professional
Know where you are and what’s happening around you
Stage Presence
Use good body language, eye contact and tone of voice
Don’t touch the attendees, even if you’re just being friendly
Team Leaders
Pay close attention to whatever they have to say
Always know how to contact them

Common Tasks
Job
Description
Booth Attendant
Will be directed by TL/Venue Chair, mainly answer attendee questions.
CAF Assistant
Usher attendees, handing out/cleaning 3D glasses, and dealing with crowd control.
Gate Keeper
Checking badges at doors and direct attendees to correct venues
Happy Helpers
Follow instructions/tasks delegated by Scott Lang
Language Tour
Guide
Must speak another language besides English, guide attendees through the
conference
Ready Roomer
On stand-by, can be stationed anywhere depending on situation.
Sales Support
Help fold shirts, re-stock shelves, and interact with attendees making purchases.
Setup
Set up locations before the start of conference
Tear Down
Assist in tearing down locations at the end of the conference
**Setup and Tear Down are NON-SWAPPABLE
