Gotthard Landscape - the Unexpected View

followed by a Guest Address by Jann Jenatsch KEYSTONE
Alpine Landscapes sublimely revealed and animated as a vast digital
frieze spread the entire length of the Palazzo Trevisan, the show is
complemented by a physical model of the Gotthard Range projecting
of various infrastructures and the display of the book “Landscape
Myth and Technology”. In addition a projection of the new NEAT
tunnel under the Gotthard graciously provided by Keystone will be
staged in the entrance hall.

The audio tracks by ZEBRA (CH) were created from original
samples recorded in the alpine towns of Göschenen and Andermatt,
Switzerland. The samples are cut filtered pitched and rearranged
into soundscapes that echo the exhibition’s visuals with strong sonic
impressions.
