This project is an offspring of the company's previous works, but it tries to explore a different way by shifting its research toward other fields, especially those of sound and voice, without forgetting the company's performative and visual experience. Teatro delle Moire has drawn into this experiment Camilla Barbarito, singer and composer of visionary, grotesque songs under the pen name of Nina Madù. What emerged is a sort of "concept concert", a journey beginning from Poe's tales and poems into a gloomy atmosphere made of visions and hallucinations, and the kind of romanticism that often borders on grotesque. In 2004 he moved to Belgium to start an educational experience within the P.A.R.T.S, the Performing Arts Research and Training Studios founded by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. A Mary Wigman dance evening pays homage to Mary Wigman who, in the early 1930s, crossed the Atlantic Ocean for the first time and changed forever the dance scene in the USA. Fabian Barba delves into Wigman's world by making use of newly-found footage and a wide selection of documents on her works, as well as the corporeal memory of some of the Berlin artist's collaborators. The result is a work poising between fiction and reality, original and copy, memory and perception. As in their previous works, Garten make a surprising use of simple materials to create cinema-like images, in a close dialogue with sound -produced live -- and video materials perfectly integrating into the scene. Inspired by Ballard's visions and echoing "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy, I'm here I have a gun focuses on the idea of "catastrophe". The main character is a child who, like an angel, leads us into a world of desolation. A scene mostly made of objects and materials, to depict either a real world or a state of mind, with distant sounds, ashen horizons and fading lights. In 2014 CollettivO CineticO has re-staged the show with a new adolescent cast, composing a new choreographic score. The performance is meant as an atlas where actions are marked by a gong played by the direction and where the human "specimens" are asked to expose themselves on a ring-stage and to answer questions relating to self-definition in terms of personal features, opinions, likings and experiences. Poising between zoological precision and emotional responsiveness, these outstanding young performers create a bizarre palette of human types and surreal behavioural patterns, in an ironic revelation that becomes a touching generational statement.
