• In 1867 she got married to a man called
Frank Besant,Clergyman.
• In 1973 she broke up with Frank Besant.

Early life
Annie Besant was Irish and she was very proud of it.
Annie Besant father died when she was five years old, leaving her family
pennilies.
Her Mother was running a boarding school for boys at Harrow.
Her mum couldn’t really care for her so her friend called Ellen Marryat cared for
Her and made sure that Annie had a good education.
As she was a young lady ,she was also able to travel widely in Europe.
Annie Besant acquired a taste for catholic colour and ceremony that
never left her.

• Annie Besant tried to accommodate
Krishnamurti views into her life but never
really succeed.
• The two remained friends however until
the end of her life.
• She died in India in 1933.
