Rules & Registration
•The registration and launch site will be at the Liebs Island Ramp.
•Tournament start and weigh-in will be at the Liebs Island Ramp.
•Registration begins at 5:00 am
•Launch is at 7:00 am, weigh-in at 3:00 pm
•Boat numbers will be assigned according to the order in which your entry and fee are received
•$100 entry fee per boat
•A team may consist of 1 or 2 people
Artificial bait only (except for pork rind trailers). No trolling. A working livewell or aerated cooler is required to
keep fish alive. No alcoholic beverages during the tournament. Anglers may fish with only one rod at a time and all
fish must be caught on rod and reel (max rod length of 8 ft). 50-yard rule strictly enforced. 5 fish limit per boat
(measured on a flat board), minimum length of 12”. Only black bass (largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted) may
be weighed in. 8 oz penalty per dead fish and no dead fish may be weighed for big bass. All ties decided by
number of fish, then live fish, then coin toss. Partners must remain together until their catch is weighed and
tournament director must be notified of any partner changes before the start of the tournament. The tournament
director reserves the right to make rule changes at any time.
*The Ohio State Bass Fishing Club, The Ohio State University, Mega Bass, all other sponsors and persons
operating on behalf of these entities shall not be held responsible for injury or property damage during the
tournament.
*Anyone attempting to cheat will be immediately disqualified and will automatically forfeit their boat’s
entry fee (Unsportsmanlike conduct is grounds for disqualification). Winners are subject to truth
verification testing.
