The Crazy Experiment
Paragraph 1 – Description and Setting
Early one rainy morning, inside a secret laboratory, a young scientist named Max was
preparing a very unusual experiment. Max was a small, clever monkey with golden-brown fur
and bright, curious eyes. Around him, on the crowded laboratory tables, there were glass
bottles, test tubes, colourful liquids and strange machines. Max carefully checked his notes
before adding a few drops of a green liquid to a large glass flask. “Today, I am going to invent
something amazing!” he whispered excitedly.
Paragraph 2 – Action and Character Interaction
A few minutes later, Max poured a small portion of his special mixture into a tall container.
Suddenly, the liquid began to bubble and fizz. “That doesn't look right!” shouted his assistant,
Mia, who was standing beside the laboratory door. Max quickly looked at the flask. “Don't
worry, Mia. I know what I'm doing,” he replied confidently. Then, the mixture changed from
green to bright orange, and thick smoke slowly filled the room. Max stepped backwards while
Mia hurried towards the door.
Paragraph 3 – Suspense and Sequencing
Without warning, the laboratory became strangely quiet. Max stared nervously at the bubbling
flask. A moment later, the glass began to shake violently. “Max, stop the experiment!” Mia
cried. “I can't!” Max shouted. “The machine is out of control!” Suddenly, the flask exploded
with a loud BANG! Orange liquid splashed across the table, and clouds of smoke rushed towards
the ceiling. In the corner of the room, an alarm began to ring. Max grabbed Mia's hand and
pulled her away from the dangerous experiment.
Paragraph 4 – Resolution and Dialogue
Finally, after a few frightening seconds, the machine stopped shaking. The smoke disappeared,
and the laboratory became silent again. Max slowly walked towards the table and looked at the
remains of his experiment. “Well, that certainly didn't go as planned,” he said. Mia laughed
nervously. “Next time, perhaps you should read the warning before you start!” Later that
afternoon, Max cleaned the messy workshop and wrote down everything he had discovered.
Although his experiment had failed, Max smiled because he knew that he had learned something
important: a good scientist must always be careful!
