Calculus has many many things, derivatives, integrals and whatnot
Derivatives are to calculate the rate of change. This can be represented graphically as the
tangent at some point in the graph.
There are three rules for derivatives. The chain rule, product rule, and quotient rule.
Integrals are to calculate how much of something there is. In a graphical representation, this
would be the area under the curve or line or whatever noodlely shape the graph will be.
This is a brief summary of calculus, and is only an introduction. I will be talking more about this
topic in depth next time.
