1. Project Description
This project is to make improvements on the existing wiring harness to allow for the maintenance team to no be
interuppted by wires. It also includes multiple other quality of life improvements.
2. Deliverables
• A harness that is run along frame tubing and does not impede any maintenance operations.
• A harness that is protected by vetwrap around areas abbrassion is possible.
• A harness that includes wire numbers where each wire connects to its contact.
• A harness that meets all SAE Rules Requirements
3. Timeline & Milestones
Key dates — design freeze, fabrication start, testing, competition date.
• Project Start — 9-2-26
• Cables are extended and moved in a way to run along the frame — 9-9-26
• Cables are labelled and vet wrapped to ensure protection — 9-17-26
• Harness is sealed and passed an inspection by club rules inspectors 9-22-26

• Utilize existing club materials.

How will the team know if this project is complete and meets requirements (e.g., passes tech inspection, meets a numeric
target, survives a specific test)?
• Harness passed inspection, includes labelled wires, and does not impede maintenance operations.
