What is Desert?
A desert ecosystem is a dry environment with very low
rainfall, extreme temperatures, and specially adapted
plants and animals that survive harsh conditions.

What is the climate like?
Very hot during the day
Cold at night
Very little rainfall (less than 250 mm per year)
Dry, sandy or rocky land
